Hey there you sociable reader of ours!  You probably have a lot of friends, you like throwing parties, you like talking to people. You dig independent arts and culture in Boston, and you’re looking for something to do in your downtime that you can feel good about. Maybe you were treasurer of the 4-H club or you’ve never turned down the opportunity to make lemon squares for a bake sale. If this sounds like you, we need your help!

Let’s be honest—it takes a lot of resources to fuel BRAIN Arts and Boston Hassle. It takes spaces for shows, the time of our dedicated volunteers, and, unfortunately, lots of cold hard cash. But we’re not like your college alumni office dangling a dialing-for-dollars job in front of you. Instead, we want someone to come up with a creative plan for raising money through fundraising drives, events, and whatever else you can think of so that we can grow this organization and bring you more shows, more art, more everything! Here are some of the ideas we’ve thought of:

-Prom

-24-hour telethon on public access

-Auctions, raffles, and giveaways

-Merch

-Patron programs
