We threw a KRILL & Kal Marks & Cloud Becomes Your Hand show,  for a very Krill-y record release, just the other night. It was a difficult one to get into. Sellouts are such divisive situations, aren’t they? It is sick that some of the truly most wonderful bands on the goddamn East Coast are selling out a sizable venue square in the middle of Suck City, Boston MA (Suck City because of the seeming continuing squareness of the city toward the arts of the people of the city, not because I think the city sucks, cuz I do not think that). It is always less sick, however, that a bunch of people who want to go can’t get into an awesome show. But like Chuck Berry and the old folks said, “C’est la vie.” Dig into these lengthy vids of the night’s Krill (holy shit I know those guys!) and Cloud Becomes Your Hand (a very serious fantasy of sound from NYC) sets. The night was a celebration of Krill making a record while 100% in the zone: That new record is called A DISTANT FIST UNCLENCHING. It fucking rules.
