Janky Donuts @Lot F (Downtown)

by

TONIGHT

Let your sweet tooth get carried away to the land of confectionary dreams. Opening tonight @LotF Gallery!ND!V!DUALS collective hosts their first event in the space, featuring the city’s newest and soon to be hottest donut shop, Janky Donuts.

Boston artist collective !ND!V!DUALS is well-known for their large-scale sculptural installations and creatures made of repurposed wood. Their latest design is a pop-up shop and culinary themed installation, assembled a bit like a movie set. You won’t want to miss this. At the core of this installation is a site specific built environment populated by their notorious anthropomorphic characters. Transport to another world filled with dreamy life-size creatures that invite you to participate and explore their world while you indulge in some of their delicious creations.

Founded in 2003, this creative group includes the artists Luke O’Sullivan, Colin Driesch, Dominic Casserly, Andrew Meers, and Winston Macdonald. Known by some for the design of Orchard’s latest Newbury Street location, !ND!V!DUALS have had their hands full and look forward to sharing their confectionary delights over the next month and a half.

Janky features some of the soon-to-be hometown favorite flavors:
the farm to mouth- bacon // barking spider // jackson jelly // the camel toe claw // the ole janky

Although these modest folks don’t claim to be culinary masters, they promise to make your eyes and stomach rejoice with the likes of their damn good donuts. Join them this evening from 7-11 @Lot F for an event that will likely induce a food related sugar-coma followed by a ultra sticky hangover.
Sweet victory.

The shop will be open through August 28th. Stop by and satisfy your artistic sweet tooth.
