Boston Calling may have been cancelled this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still attend a music festival in the city! On July 3rd, Infra Collective is hosting the “first of its kind” music festival since the pandemic. The Infrastructure Festival will bring together the brightest names in Boston’s underground Techno scene for the all day, open-air event.

Headlining the festival will be 9D3 and Xoce and will feature other local DJs such as K.XAH, COMD, and Sainai. The live music begins at 2pm ET at the Underground at Ink Block, just blocks away from the Broadway train station and will go well into the night. While the festival is open to the public, it is a 18+ event.

The festival will see collaborations with local vendors such as Beantown Taqueria, New City Micocreamery, and Pure Oasis Dispensary. Boston-based art collector Anthony Boisvert will also host an art exhibit throughout the day.

“The opportunity to conduct an event of this scale is truly something special for me personally,” said Jose Zamora, Infra Collective Co-Founder, Festival Organizer and one of the performing DJs. “Infra has waited a long time to do something for the community that has been desperately waiting for an opportunity to connect with one another and enjoy music together. Well, that opportunity has finally arrived.”

“I cannot remember the last time the city of Boston has witnessed an event like this, even before the pandemic began,” Infra member and social media coordinator Victor Riberio explained in the festival’s press release. “There is a strong demand for techno music, and it is Infra’s intent to provide it at this event. We’ve already sold-out pre-sales so I urge all those interested to buy their tickets before it’s too late!”

Tickets to Infrastructure can be purchased HERE.

Infra is an underground music collective based in Boston that started in 2016. The collective consists of a small international team of passionate artists from all walks of life, united in their aim to connect different communities through the power of electronic music. Pre COVID-19, Infra hosted 6–8 events per month highlighting prominent international DJs. Currently, Infra is beginning to conduct artistically fueled experiences in accordance with changing guidelines.
