When was the last time you hung out in East Boston? Almost never?
This underrated neighborhood wants to meet you- and offers a very rich cultural community. In its third year, the HAF (Harbor Arts Festival) is set to invite Boston to come discover what it means to “East your Art Out” with the HarborArts Shipyard Gallery &Festival.
The gallery opened in 2010 with one of the largest collections of public art in the area, curated in partnership with the UrbanArts Institute of MassArt and juried by Randi Hopkins of the ICA.
This year’s festival also marks the closing of the summer exhibition of ephemeral works by Studio’s Without Walls: “OccupyING the Present.” (June 29 – Sept.21).
Enjoy the current collection of artwork and take in the view of Downtown Boston with live music, local food, drinks, &fun shit to do. We invite you to engage in this celebration with us on September 21st, 2013 12pm-7pm @Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina, 256 Marginal St, East Boston
