Welcome to the “real world”, kids! Over at Aviary Gallery in Jamaica Plain, thirteen emerging photographers challenge and embrace adulthood as a human living in the world. Each photographer uses their own narrative to show the viewer their transition, some using portraits, others capturing forces of nature, to sometimes creating fantastical characters to describe the rather unsettling feeling of dealing with the world around them. The artists are all past and present interns at Aviary and include, Genesis Baez, Ali Champoli, Abigail Daggett, Cory Daniels, Suzi Grossman, Eduard Leon, Justin Hahn, Joshua Mathews, Madeline Muhlberg, Gabby Riggieri, Sumiah Salloum, Gabija Vaisvilaite, Laura Penney.
