Go To: Can’t You See How Hard I’m Working? DAP Group Show

by

The number of days until Can’t You See How Hard I’m Working? opens is dwindling, so get ready. This show will feature artists of all experience levels and backgrounds– MFA students and MFA teachers and an activist artist and professional artists with other solo shows. There will be sculptures, there will be paintings, there will be drawings, there will be photographs, there will be mixed media, and there will be a video involving feet (no, I won’t tell you more) projected onto a wall.

Some names: Ben Foley, Will Whelan, Rebeccah Stromberg, Shira Espo, Anya Smolnikova, Taylor Mortell, Lilly Saywitz, Jamal Thorne, David Taylor, Joanna Tam, Jenny Bergman, Sam Schultz, Grete Langrind, Mairead Murphy, Solei, Sophia Nora Giordano, Alexandria Nazar.
Damn, what a lineup!

This show is no small deal. In fact, it’s a pretty big deal. We’re bringing together artists with studio space at Dorchester Art Project and those affiliated with Brain Arts for the first show since taking over the gallery space. The show opens this Saturday and will run until May 5, so drop by and support some artists because (spoiler) they’ve been working very hard.
