Tonight Uforge Gallery is celebrating the opening of it’s first two shows of the new year.

The first, group show When Old Meets New, asks contributors to reflect on the past year and set the tone for the new one. It promises to be a very personal and possibly voyeuristic reception as we get a glimpse at the artists’ plans and memories.

On Uforge’s back wall—the space they call {the revolver @ ufg}—you’ll also find a series of film posters by art historian and movie buff Alex Kittle.

Kittle’s taste runs the gamut from horror to musicals and her style combines pop art, comic art, and psychedelic in her prints. Test your film knowledge by trying to guess all the references, quotes, and jokes embedded into At the Movies!
