First Annual New Hampshire Zine Fest to take place August 19

Dover, NH – August 3, 2018 – Wrong Brain is holding the first annual NH Zine Fest on Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Sues’s Space, located at 3 Front Street, Suite B789 in Rollinsford, New Hampshire. From 12 pm to 6 pm, the event has a $2 admission fee and will feature vendors, zine creators, workshops, demos, and speakers. There is a 7 pm afterparty at the location with live bands and pizza.

Wrong Brain founder Sam Paolini, the organizer of the event, says, “zines are an amazing DIY outlet for artists and are typically circulated underground or at fairs and other art events. This event lets zine creators and readers connect and network, and will introduce new people to an often overlooked but thriving underground medium.” Zines are handmade, collaged , printed or photocopied comic books, booklets, poetry and art collections and other paper media. They are an important alternative for creatives and artists to circulate and self-publish their work.
