Darkshoft’s ELECTRIC PETTING ZOO (Tara Toms, cskonopka) is an interactive installation and improvised performance event within Faneuil Hall on May 26, 27, and 28, 2018 from 12pm to 8pm.

Using a wide array of electronic and analog equipment, instruments, recording software, and video synthesizers, ELECTRIC PETTING ZOO invites passers-by to engage a self-paced, free-form creative process. The sounds and images that guests generate will be collected and sampled in a cumulative recording session which will be released as a finished audio/visual composition after the installation ends.
ELECTRIC PETTING ZOO seeks meaningful creative impact by breaking open and making accessible the transformative nature of improvisation and unfiltered expression.
