To mark ten years of its Artist Membership Program, Gallery 263 is displaying the work of twenty of the more than seventy member artists they have worked with over the years.

Beyond representing a wide range of artistic media, the Members’ Exhibit also displays the strength of the relationships formed in the program’s ten years. Member artists Tamar Etingen and Sirarpi Heghinian-Walzer, have been involved since the beginning, and other artists have studied together. Many of them–including former Mayor of Cambridge Henrietta Davis and former surgeon Susan Emmerson–have turned to visual art after successful careers in other fields.

In addition to the increased support and gallery’s web presence, member artists enjoy waived application fees for gallery opportunities, full profit on art sales, and a variety of networking and social events. The Student Artist Membership tier offers networking opportunities in the art community at reduced fees for artists currently enrolled in college or graduate study, or under the age of 25.
