ALL VISUAL BOSTON  is taking submissions for their next pop-up, and you’d be wise to get in on this. Not only is it free to submit your image/lens-based work to this sporadic and inspiring project, but this edition will be featured within RICARDO De LIMA’s Another Spectacle gallery @ the INSTITUTE OF CONTEMPORARY ART BOSTON as part of the 2015 JAMES AND AUDREY FOSTER PRIZE SHOW, which happens to be one of the best tickets in town this summer.

All Visual Boston (AVB) was initiated back in 2012 by Western Masser TREVOR POWERS, taking his cue directly from All Visual LA.  Essentially, this is a travelling series of one-night-only digital slideshows, with live music accompanying the visuals. These events celebrate (and help bridge) the local artistic community while being free for artists to submit to and free for anyone to attend.

Appropriately enough, the theme for this AVB is work that “celebrates, explores, questions, and demystifies collaboration.” BATHAUS will be performing to serve as the soundtrack. Deadline to submit is July 3, 2015. Full details at www.allvisualboston.org/upcoming
