The Boston Hassle has cooked up a delicious bill for TONIGHT over at Lilypad in Inman Square, with some tasty, out-of-state sounds to top off your weekend. Journeying up from New Orleans will be CADDYWHOMPUS, a duo that does intricate rock with a dash of psychedelic noise. They know how to mix in just enough math-rock strangeness without dropping the momentum built up by their melodic progressions, with tracks that jitter and shift unexpectedly before opening up for climatic head-rushes.

Churning out some off-kilter, garage-infused rockers will be familiar, JP three-piece KRILL. These dudes relish in subtle dissonances with lyrics that trade mainly in meta-narrative downers. An effective combination that is made stronger by their thoughtful song structures.

Local, spacey, math-rock magicians THE SHARPEST are set to round out the bill. The speedy, angular guitar licks this band spins out bounce around with tons of energy, as does their tightly-paced percussion.
