I create comics and zines that bring together a wide range of sources to create multilayered narratives about cultural conflict, the scars of colonialism and unheard microhistories. My comics are an attempt to linearly trace current events to historical tipping points, often at the hands of an aggressor.

Double Vision Embroidery was started in 2012 after artist Sam Merritt purchased an industrial embroidery machine and restored it to working order. She now manufactures her own line of embroidered clothing and patches, inspired by embroidered scout badges, band patches, and classic American patches and embroidery of the 1970s. // Tumblr // FB

The glass heart press is a small letterpress/screenprint shop in Somerville Massachusetts run by Beth Driscoll.I use a 10 x 15 Chandler and Price platen press for letterpress work.I also screenprint original designs and illustrations onto paper,wood and textiles.I work closely with artists from the little house studios(located right next door).
Cutting boards lovingly made by hand from reclaimed and salvaged wood. From milling the rough wood to finishing each board with four coats of homemade wax, I treat each board like a piece of fine furniture. All of the wood is locally collected and salvaged from the Boston area, and typically comes from fellow woodworkers’ scraps, sidewalk trash day finds, and construction site dumpsters. Wood selection generally includes classic North American hardwoods White Oak, Maple, Black Walnut, and Cherry. Limited Appeal Records is a vinyl only label started in 2007 by 2 long time friends. It is based out of Boston & Los Angeles. Our goal is to simply put out records by bands that we like while at the same time creating (what we think to be) interesting/unique looking hand crafted record jackets, inserts & record centers.
Every record is hand assembled/stenciled/rubber/stamped/stickered/screened numbered/what have you. Pressings are usually between 100 (at least) & 500 *at the most). We beg borrow & steel to get the job done. It is what some might call a “labor of love” – because we sure aren’t doing it for the money. // FB
