Here’s 11 of my favorite shows I helped w this year:
Thurs Aug 1st at Ralph’s – Screaming Females, Dark Thoughts, Exmaid, Evan Greer
Sold out wall to wall and the energy was pumping! Definitely one of my favorites of the year.
Tues Sept 3 at Firehouse – Shellshag, Lung, Moist Boy, Funeral Cone, Scare City
I love all these bands. This was a killer 5 band bill that ended well before midnight 😉
Fri Oct 11 at Good Orneing – Joseph Allred, Jordan Holtz, Bettny Roze, Birds + Bombs
Joseph is someone I met on GNaRDS tour in 2015. I was very happy to get him out for a great show!
Fri Sept 13 at Distant Castle – Mute Swan, Bad Larrys, Dream Job, Memory Lame
This was one of those Fridays where lots of people come to the show for no reason! Love it. Good gig!
Tues June 11 at Ralphs Outside – Strange Fate, Funeral Cone, Scare City
This was my B-Day. Funeral Cone are classic old friends of mine, and Strange Fate are awesome people who I really got to know this year. Its always nice to spend your birthday rocking w good friends!
Fri April 19 at Hotel Vernon – Jake McKelvie + the Countertops, Bad Larrys, 77 Everythings, The Black Black, Scare City
Car troubles for the touring band. A great gig, good attendance and generous donations eased the $ they lost Ubering around!
Sat April 13 at The Rendezvous in Turners Falls – TV2000, Parlor Shark, Scare City, Hung Trucker
This was a cool one. I hung out in Turners/Greenfield a bunch the past year or two, Hung Trucker and everyone out there are amazing people : )
This was a fun show! Hole covers were so good! Was psyched to get Owen Manure out. Solid gig!
Sat June 1 at Starlite in Southbridge, MA – Wyndwood, Bad Larrys, Moist Boy, Eye Witness
Always nice to do a gig at Starlite! This was a fun show w good friends!
Sun Sept 22 at Distant Castle – Pop Empire, Jesus Vio, Sax Machine, Scare City
This was a last minute gig that ended up being very fun! Pop Empire are a great band and cool new friends!
Tues Aug 6 at Ralph’s Outside – Spit Take, Dando Fever, Jake + Tops
Outdoor shows at Ralph’s were great this year! No Rain outs! Good $ for out of town bands! Hell yeah.
This was a fun show. Spit Take have become good friends of mine these past couple years. Jake + crew are always very helpful and have also become such cool friends of mine. Much love!
Some other cools things that happened this year: Touring w Bad Larrys was so great! Awesome tour-mates, great friends, great band! Check out their Album: Perfect Trim! Other things: Hung w my Nephew Jackson a bunch. Listened to Juliana Hatfield too much. Read her book “When I Grow Up”. Felt a lot of emotions! Did cool stuff!
2019 was a very trying year for me! It kinda sucked, but also was great! And that’s just life. I got to spend loads of time w beautiful people and saw loads of good music. I’m grateful for this life. Come hang in Worcester in 2020 : D
