IN/FIN/ITE PRESENTS: A SONG FOR ECHO @Museum of Science 9/26, 7:30pm
ONE NIGHT EVENT
New York-based artist Julie Nymann and Boston-based musician Ricardo Danoso are taking over the Museum of Science’s planetarium with a collaboration named for Echo, the nymph of Greek myth fame. Danoso’s “soundscapes” will accompany Nymann’s video projections on the planetarium dome. The piece examines the dichotomies explored in the “Echo and Narcissus” myth, and attempts to study how the dualities in that myth are reflected in human existence.
