As the title “World Within Worlds” suggests, the exhibition opening this Saturday at Proof Gallery will explore the worlds that exist in each present reality. Through mediums that include photography, performance, objects, and environments, the three exhibiting artists seek to create the shared experience of “a world” within this space. Trevor Powers will display his photography project Dog Holes depicting the transient nature of shapes and spaces in the woods. Faith Johnson‘s interactive installation will involve the spectator in co­-creating a world we would all want to live in. Lastly, Philip Frayer’s performance art at the opening and closing reception, and physical remnants left after each performance, will open a door to the world of the artist’s personal experience.
