WOULDN’T IT BE NICE is a recomposition of The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds album in its entirety performed by an all-female ensemble of 17 musicians (9 vocalists, synth/keys, guitar, bass, drums, and a string quartet). Half of the proceeds from our debut show will go to Girls Rock Campaign Boston.

Joining us will be UMBRELLA PINE, the duo project of Magdalena Abrego and Allison Burik!
Since first meeting at Berklee College of Music in 2013, Magdalena Abrego and Allison Burik have cultivated their sound as a duo in a project titled Umbrella Pine. By utilizing a combination of alto saxophone, bass clarinet, electric guitar, and electronics, the two seek to explore possibilities within improvisation. The project features original compositions as well as arrangements of music by Eric Dolphy, Albert Ayler, and others.
