From the official event:

Presented by Fallon Leigh O’Brien and Peter Levine, The first ever Weird Local Film Festival (WLFF) will be a night of strange locally-made films. The goal of the title was to make that clear, but maybe this description will help.

The WLFF will be spooky, wonderful, awkward, comforting, discomforting, quiet, loud, happy, sad, hilarious, and definitely insta worthy. It’s a good event to go to if you need to bump up your indie credibility on social media. Be sure to check in on foursquare or blog about it at xanga.com. We’re all about personal branding here at the WLFF.
