Karmenife is an artist, writer, and activist whose recent photography project, Reclamation, has gone viral. Karmenife was raised in Harlem, NYC and is a recent graduate of Wesleyan University. In 2015, Karmenife published a memoir entitled Sea Salt and Sandalwood through Wesleyan’s Gorilla Publishing Collective.
