Since its inception, Brain Arts has been a cornerstone for Boston’s underground music and art scene. With a passionate and motivated team of over 150 unpaid volunteers, we continuously strive to aptly utilize our resources to support the talent that often does not find its place in the mainstream. Through our various mediums (including, but not limited to, the Boston Hassle, Boston Compass, Black Market, and our very own venue at Dorchester Art Project), we believe that we act as an amplifier for marginalized artists and voices, not only in Boston, but worldwide. We have been so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such incredible talent, and it goes without saying that the tireless efforts of our dedicated team are what have made our endeavors possible.
Fellow lovers of the arts! The time is once again upon us where we ask for your help to strengthen and sustain this organization. We will be holding our Third Annual HASSLE TELETHON this coming October 5th-6th, and it will be so much more than just a kick-off yo a month long fundraiser. Be prepared for 24 hours of captivating performance art, all live streamed to the comfort of your home (or in your face if you come out to DAP)! With the help of our generous donors last year, we were able to fund the construction of a new era in Brain Arts’ history by acquiring our venue space at DAP. This year, we are raising money to improve our space, fund our projects, and sustain GROWTH within the org! So join us on October 5th and 6th and lend us your hand as we move into even better and brighter years for Brain Arts, Boston Hassle, and all of the other beautiful things we do!
