Things to look forward to in 2017: World economic collapse, totalitarian police state, and gladiatorial criminal game shows. Ben Richards (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is wrongly inducted into the morbid and surreal life of an American prisoner, wherein he’s captured and taken under the control of ICS, a network which broadcasts deadly fights between serious and gimmick-ridden criminals such as Buzzsaw (Gus Rethwisch), Fireball (Jim Brown), and Captain Freedom (Jesse Ventura).

Leading a rebellion task force of these weird antiheroes, Richards fights for his life and pursues happiness through explosions and raw escapism.
