The Poetry Brothel fuses poetry, activism, vaudeville. burlesque, live music, magic, mysticism, and one-on-one readings to create a radical artistic space. In addition to its poets, The Poetry Brothel presents artists and activists working in a variety of mediums both on stage and through its ever-changing array of intimate, interactive, and creative services. On March 12, bring the lover you’re falling for, a friend in mischief, or come play solo. Our angels descend for one night only to answer your hidden prayers through poetry readings, burlesque, mysticism, and the musical rapture of 3rian King & The Familiars! Costumes and/or thematic evening wear are encouraged but not required. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination AND a mouth and nose covering will be required of all attendees at the entrance. The Footlight Club, 7A Eliot Street Boston MA. The Doors to Heaven open at 730pm. The show begins promptly at 8pm. 21+.
