The Boston French Film Festival

Thu, Jul 13 2017 6:30 pm - Sun, Jul 30 2017 9:30 pm

$9.00

As newly-elected French President Emmanuel Macron promotes his country internationally as a haven of innovation and creativity, the Boston French Film Festival offers Americans an artistic state of the union. Long considered one of the best French film festivals here in the states, this year’s eclectic catalogue of features includes films that have already made their way through the U.S. circuit of limited releases (including Olivier Assayas’ Personal Shopper) and a few that are making their American debuts (such as Lucas Belvaux’ This is Our Land).

Hosted by our very own Museum of Fine Arts, the Boston French Film Festival will run from July 13th until July 30th, kicking off with a free outdoor screening of Martin Bourboulon’s Divorce French Style out on the Huntington Avenue Lawn and concluding with The Odyssey, Jérôme Salle’s biopic about world-renowned oceanographer Jacques Cousteau. All of the featured films are presented on DCP in French with English subtitles included. Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity for cinephiles and Francophiles alike.

Full Pass: $170 for nonmembers, $136 for members

Half Pass: $90 for nonmembers, $72 for members
