We here at the Boston Hassle started an ongoing series a while back to celebrate the harsher, more extreme, and yes, louder contingent of music makers in the underground. Harsh noise, power electronics, death metal, grind, doom metal, black metal, industrial. Get the picture?

This third installment in this series, which we’ve dubbed Scorched Ear, will feature the blackened sludge of Upheaval, the fresh upstart grind of Rhode Island’s Moisturizer, the evil death grind of Mucophagus, the experimental metal and noise rock of Porno Portal To Florida, the crusty Allston grind styling of Armpits, and the doom folk of Ivory Glass Towers.
It’s all ages, so that everyone can have access too getting their ears blown out. Ear plugs will be available for free
