Long time Vermont-er, currently based in New York, Ryan Power will be bringing his singular subversive pop songwriting to Boston for the first time in almost a year since his last show here just after putting out his most recent release, “They Sell Doomsday.” This double-LP release stands as Ryan’s 7th full-length release, adding to his already large catalog of music marked by impeccable attention to sonic detail, individual melodic and harmonic sensibility, and thematic lyricism. Other Vermont luminary, Ruth Garbus, will be performing as well. Ruth weaves the warmest guitar-and-vocal songs you have heard. Expectation subverting stream of consciousness melody and psychedelic harmony occasionally phased. Ruth’s songs are undeniably singular, as well.
