There’s something about single location films which Alfred Hitchcock adores. And we’re all the better for it. The maestro of macabre murder utilizes the (seemingly) filmic method of the single, unbroken shot to tell the story of two young men (Farley Granger, John Dall) committing homicide to prove their intellectual superiority. So what do they do? Well, put the body in a trunk and throw a party with unknowing guests of course. One guest in particular being their former prep school master (Jimmy Stewart), whom the murderers delight in dangling clue after clue in front of him. Come see if they get away with it.
