It’s time for Weird Folk Fest to once again have an event featuring LGBTQ performers! Come support your local Queer friends while simultaneously supporting one of the community epicenters of Roxbury!

6:00pm: Obese Ava
Obese Ava will grace us with a set of Trans-Femme Acoustic gore hip-hop!

7:00pm: Eddie Maisonet, storyteller
Eddie Maisonet is an afroboricua Boston storyteller, using hybrid genres he shares his narrative writing with the hope that he may be witnessed. His work is queer af, black af, and trans af.

8:00pm: Petting Kazoo/Chants Operation with Special Guests
WFF host band Petting Kazoo is joining forces with Chants Operation, a protest song and Klezmer collaborative duo. Expect unusual vocal harmonies, some oboe, and some truth.

9:00 pm: The Sunset Kings
The Sunset Kings is a 6-piece indie band fusing elements of jazz, rock, hip-hop, folk and soul to create songs centered around the experience of colonialism in our relationships with each other.

Doors open: 5:30.
Suggested Donation: $3-33 to support the performers and the performance space
