“That gum you like is coming back in style”.

Freaks worldwide rejoiced last year when it was announced that David Lynch would be producing new episodes of his Twin Peaks series. Mike Sim has taken it one step further and is giving us a new take on the old classic to help tide us over.

The concept for the OST series is simple: we start with a inspiring piece of video and then perform new music over it live. Beyond merely recreating the classic soundtrack (all hats off to Angelo Badalamenti), the new sounds promise new perspectives on old images and highlight the interplay between the two pieces of media. It’s a big ask of any artist and we’re excited for Mike to be stepping up to the plate!

Be sure to get there around 8 for donuts and coffee, as this show will be a bit earlier than most. The music starts with an opening set from local electronic humanoids Les Chaises, followed by our featured performance at 9 sharp.
