Lauri Hyvärinen (b. 1986, Helsinki) uses guitar as his main sound source. His sound and music related activities are of theoretical and practical nature, of which improvisation remains his primary medium and interest. Hyvärinen utilises the possibilities of improvisation, compositional and minimalist structures in search for shared and intensified social and spatial constructions.

Dan Wick has been a mainstay around town for many years now and is an exceptional multi-instrumentalist and improvisor. In this recent collaboration with Nick Joilet he will be playing drums.

Nick Joliat is a composer, pianist and computer programmer based in Cambridge, MA. His recent composing and improvising work explores the technical and expressive outer limits of toy electronic keyboards.

Brittany and Ian are two of the most accomplished bass players around, their versatility on the instrument takes them all over the map musically. These days, Ian can most often be heard playing with the band Old Wave; Brittany writes deconstructive folk songs under the name Karl. This bass duo is an opportunity to catch the depths of their work as improvisors.
