Marbleous is the duo of contrabassist Margarethe Maierhofer-Lischka (Graz, Austria) and violinist Jeffrey Young (Philadelphia, PA). Marbleous performs musical free improvisation with a theatrical twist, using traditional instruments, unusual objects, and elements of physical theater. Margarethe and Jeffrey first met at the Darmstädter Ferienkurse für Neue Musik in 2008 and reconnected through a project of LUCERNE FESTIVAL ALUMNI in 2017. They formed Marbleous in 2019 following the premiere of the project A History of Characters, a music-theater work they created in collaboration with two other Graz-based musicians. Their premiere US tour will be in February-March 2020.

Lani Asuncion is a multimedia artist who navigates her practice as an artist through performance, video, and experimental sound work. In her work, she explores how disparately cultures meet and mix to negotiate experiences of loss, transformation, and belonging. By using her body, costume, and sculptural props she is able to navigate landscapes and recall personal stories that are constructed into abstract narratives used to express her identity as a multicultural, biracial womxn. She has performed and done public work in Illuminus 2017, at the Museum of Fine Arts opening for Narcissister, Pearl Street Projects at Asian Arts Initiative, and Little Berlin in Philly. She lives and works out of her studio in JP, Boston

Based in the US since 2002, Pensado uses voice and electronics to make music. Max is her main tool. The programming emphasizes the mapping of synthesis parameters into performance gestures. The approach to both, programming and performance is highly intuitive. The harsh cut up noise result, mixed with the strong emotional component of her music, generates a deeply personal sonic language which inevitably gives rise to intense responses in the most diverse audiences. Pensado performs extensively in the US and abroad. She also produces Sonorium, a series of experimental music based in Salem, MA.
