Experimental metal sums this one up pretty well.
We don’t do enough heavy, strange shows, but be assured
that we have heavy, strange (and blackened) hearts.
KTB 1/2 visiting from NYC might disagree with the whole
exp. metal designation. It doesn’t really fit them. Maybe
industrial rhythm rock fits better. Minimal noise rock? Either
way, get together mems of Bugs and Rats & Guerilla Toss
and this is what happens.

Experimental metal works the rest of the way. Ehnahre are lords
of such, but here will be functioning as a two piece bringing more of a drone
element into their performance for the night. Providence’s Diabolical Fiend bring
the weird metal straight up and basically just absolutely rip. They don’t
come up to Boston enough. Myocastor Coypus are newer Boston area band that
shred strangely and this is of course what makes them a new heavy favorite for
us locals. Grime coated strange and loud in Jamaica Plain.
