Micah Danemayer left this plane of existence in the Ghostship fire in Oakland. Micah lived in Somerville and attended Massachusetts College of Art where he became an integral part of the underground music scene; his infectious enthusiasm spawned many local collaborations. After graduating from the SIM program in 2011, he moved to the Bay Area where he immersed himself in the production and promotion of his and other artists music. After Micah’s passing his parents set up a memorial scholarship at MassArt in his name. This show features some of Micah’s many friends in the city coming together to make music and video art in an effort to celebrate Micah’s life and raise money for his memorial scholarship.

Lex Russo’s makes unhinged techno and immersive sensory environments with his projects Vehement Caress and Grutch, and will be doing a special modular synthesizer performance.

Lure is the solo project of Allison O’Brien, a sound and performance artist who creates woven synthetic trance-inducing soundscapes using voice and computer software.
