Experimental Offerings XIV

Fri, Jan 17 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

The Studio

Five performances bringing unique brands of audio experimentation to downtown Laconia. Donations greatly appreciated for the touring artist. Kentucky is far away.

“The Corrupting Sea is the ambient project of Jason T. Lamoreaux. An expression of feelings and very personal experiences, the ambient moods generated through Jason’s work are expressions of real life stories and moments.”
His new album Ontology just came out.

Oahk is difficult to pin a genre to. Loud post-rock/drone/doom/ambient. It rules. He’s from NH.

Closer Bones is from Laconia. They are sad & loud. Depressed & anxious harsh noise/power electronics.

Federico Balducci from West Springfield MA will be returning, with his ethereal guitar & synth dreamscapes.

Fortune Tellers of the Illuminati are the kind of local folks I wanted to meet when I started booking shows. Adolescent saxophone & screams, coupled with bass & drums. Think The Contortions meets Brainbombs-lite fronted by a 13-year-old. It’s going to rip.
No links. No videos. No escape.

We keep these shows free to make sure no one gets pay-gated out of attending. Donations for traveling artists are greatly appreciated.

As always, a massive thank you to Melissa for allowing us to utilize The Studio. Respect the space, respect others. BYOB within reason, smoke outside away from the door.
