Dreamscape is our recurring musical seance. Taking place in the spiritual Hope Central Church right up from Green Street Station in the heart of JP, Dreamscape #11 is going to be an exorcize in acoustic and electronic soundscapin’. Our guests of honor this evening are House and Land, the duo of Sally Anne Morgan (fiddle, shruti box, banjo, vocals) and Sarah Louise Henson (vocals, 12-string guitar, shruti box, bouzouki) honing traditional music often lost on “kids today” which is reason enough for us to perpetuate. Also pulling on the heartstrings of simpler times are locals Rob Noyes (coming from across the river) on guitar and Audrey Harrer (strolling up the street) on harp both of whom will fill the pulpit with incendiary picking, plucking and strummin’. On the other end of the spectrum CLOTH and Anda Volley will unleash similarly gorgeous dream-themes from the confines of various metal and plastic boxes, synths, computers, whatehaveyou. Their electronic offerings both ambient and engaging will go perfectly with VIDUMAMI’s visuals, casting broad strokes of color and life all over the walls of this big beautiful room.
