Warm weather have you feeling dark and brooding? Crawl down to Dorchester this Sunday night if you know whats good for you. Cause even if you dont know your ass from your elbow if you hate the world like I do you will simply adore this blend of angst, rock, synths, pop and feeling of hopelessness. Local veteran project of Pasha Koskins, KARMAN VOH is known for shedding it’s skin and unveiling a new form every so often and we are confident whatever mix of cathartic distortion, drum machine and sharp hooks will do just nicely for tonight. They set the stage for NYs REACHES whose music conjures up some sort of 80s underground dance club vibe but with a discerning towards the radical art you dont always get when you aim to get down. Then we have goddamn BUCK GOOTER who needs no introduction but you dont know what I’m talking about anyway so let’s just say that if there was ever a band whose music lived up to the bands underground clout these boys be it. Crushing beats, demented winding tones of acoustic guitar and chains and some twisted spittle delivered by our friend Billy writhing around on the floor. It’s damn good. But it’s also just so wild that we thought we would bring in scene anchor DEEP HOLE to hole down the fort. I’m only going to use the word brooding twice. Self-described as major-depressive noise rock I will give a gentle nod to indicate that I agree with their bandcamp page and if that sounds like you then you sound like everyone I care about. Now get to the fucking show.
