Berlin via Australia just-out-of-reach pop + electronics conjurer Carla dal Forno is coming
to visit us for what is no doubt going to be an intimate and special Boston Hassle
show in a special space (First Parish Church) in Harvard Square…

dal Forno weaves the kind of songs (both in her solo work and her previous work with the likes of F ingers)
that are hushed but commanding and room filling. Some have conjectured that this may be due to the collision
between worldiness and otherworldiness in her music. It is difficult to say for sure though. We can,
surely say however, that it is a rare treat to have Ms. dal forno performing in the Boston area.

Joining Carla dal Forno on this bill will be fractal music maker and software designer
Erika Nesse whose music is fairly otherworldy in its own right I must say. Also on the bill is folk music maker
Sundog whose vibes are sad, but it’s an uplifting sadness, mostly. it won’t bring you further down, but
could serve as a a comfortable sweater to rub if your already low.

I think it’s a lovely show.
