As always there will be a raffle with prizes donated by our vendors! And coffee for sale, donated by 1369 Coffee House

And the Glitter Boys will be DJing all day!

Bootstrap Compost will be hauling away all the coffee grounds and compostable coffee cups, but you can also bring a reusable mug for your coffee and get a free raffle ticket.

Featuring some incredible workshops!
3pm: Resonant Energy

Workshop title: What You Need to Know to Help your Nonprofit Go Solar.

Wondering why your nonprofit is the only building on the block without solar panels? Join us for a 45 minutes workshop to learn about the options, best practices, and first steps to help your nonprofit explore if solar makes sense for your building. We’ll cover the following topics:
Options for no-cost installation and affordable solar
What makes a good roof
Expected savings
First step and analysis
Please RSVP here or email [email protected] if can’t attend but would like more information!

4pm: All In Energy

Do you rent or are you a landlord in Cambridge? Do you own a home anywhere in MA? Join us to learn about how you can save energy and money in your apartment, condo, or house by accessing Massachusetts’ energy saving-programs. We’ll help you sign up for a no-cost home energy assessment that can give you free energy-saving devices like LED light bulbs and programmable thermostats, and major discounts on insulation and other heating/cooling upgrades. This workshop is led by All In Energy, a local nonprofit with a mission to accelerate an inclusive clean energy economy by bringing diverse talent to clean energy companies and energy efficiency to under-served communities.

5pm: Sam Paolini

Block Printing for fabric: Learn design & carving skills to make your own sturdy, reusable stamp. Practice printing your stamp with a variety of fabric inks on recycled cotton, denim & canvas to make patches or all-over prints to be made into garments, or patterned directly on clothing.

Also at 5pm: Stevie Leigh

“For my workshop I would like to create a simple jacket from start to finish to show the process of garment creation and how ‘wasted’ materials can be used in a sustainable way.

Basically, I would start with the upcycled denim scraps I use to create my garments and take input from everyone in terms of color, size, etc. and sew the garment together. People could help me with opening denim hems and creating the color layout.”
