Another night of heavy electronics in Central Sq. with modular synths stacked high to rain sine waves on your skull. Three of New England’s synth shut-ins come out of their caves to convene at Studio550, alongside Austin’s Curved Light.
With new releases on Field Hymns and Holodeck Records, and a slew of SXSW performances, Peter Tran has been keeping busy as Curved Light. We’re excited to be hosting him as part of an east coast tour with New Hampshire’s Timothy Fife (check out his debut release of dark drones, Black Carbon on vinyl at Death Waltz).
The night will be bookended by two local improvisers, Prone and Bastian Void, who are always exploring new sonic territory with their evolving projects. Blown out techno? Blissed out drones? Your guess is as good as mine.
