“The House Slam” at the Haley House Café (12 Dade Street, Boston, 02119) is Boston’s Poetry Slam venue located in the heart of Dudley Square. The venue offers awesome food, an open mic, a featured poet and a poetry slam every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. The venue is free of cost and welcoming to all (18+).

This regional competition will bring together four poetry slam teams from the Northeast to compete in preparation for the National Poetry Slam in August.

Parking is free and plentiful— The House Slam is also extremely accessible via Orange Line, Silver Line, and numerous bus routes.
