This week, Lesley Art and Design will host a lecture series featuring four artists, critics, writers, and art historians.
Come to Lesley University on Tuesday to hear a lecture by curator Helen Molesworth. Molesworth has been the Chief Curator at institutions such as the Wexner Center for the Arts, ICA Boston, and MOCA Los Angeles. In an Art Forum essay Molesworth writes, “Holding is an act that implies weight and assistance, an act of touching and proximity, a gesture of binding rather than division. Holding is also temporary. No one holds forever. Holding is tiring. Holding is provisional.”
All lectures will be held in the lower level screening room at Lesley University’s University Hall building in Porter Square.
