JOHN CASEY’S BAR WARS! in honor of John, who’s bar top hand drumming, booming singing voice, deep love of music and collaborative thought gave birth to this crazy idea in the first place, is one of The Best and Wildest music nights in the hood (or even in the whole town of Boston).
DOOR: $15
Each bar in JP puts a band together for one night only consisting of patrons and workers from that bar. Each year at least 11 bars participate. The winner plays the Music Festival (Sat Sept 7th). Our 9th Annual.
REVISION NOTE: Since more than one of you already planned on a band that would include more than 5, we’re gonna keep it like it’s always been – the band you make can be the band you make. After all, each bar is ‘family’ – so all welcome.
