One of the best bands in America (in our minds) returns to Boston for their first Deep Thoughts show, a rite of Boston passage at this point. Tyvek are literally doing it better than anyone and have been doing so for many year. What is it tho? It is gritty, high energy, raw and truly inventive garage rock living it up far beyond where most fall short – keeping it interesting without overthinkin. As for the other bands it should say something about them that they were requested by Tyvek themselves. The enigmatic Bong Wish is a group we are well acquainted with so we we know well enough than to expect the same twice, except for Mariam Saleh at the helm and the psychedelic vibes on high. CT’s Headroom is new to our ears but already doing a similar blissed out grunge pop thing in there. Should be a perfect pairing of hazy dazed out rockers with a dash of outrage.
