It’s one thing to write and record a happy-go-lucky ’60s throwback pop tune called “Keep Your Stupid Dreams Alive”. It’s another to not only write and record the song, but literally “keep your stupid dreams alive” over the course of 30-odd years. This recent track from the Prefab Messiahs comes off of their first new release since the ’80s.

This Worcester-born band is still living the dream, if this video is any indication. Filled with cartoons playing miserable 9-to-5 drones, it’s shamelessly silly and even self-deprecating (a cartoon version of the band, portrayed as skeletons, makes a quick cameo).
