PHASES is an art installation by SOPHIA BRUECKNER and CATHERINE D’IGNAZIO
commissioned for the Boston Harbor Islands Pavilion near State Street and Atlantic
Avenue. The piece was curated by BOSTON CYBER ARTS and opened on July 8th
The installation, only visible at night, is reminiscent of a Lite Brite or pixilated
videogame showing moonlight on waves. The motion of this graphic is programmed
to reflect real-time information from the Boston Harbor such as the tides and moon
