DEAD GHOSTS self-titled album has been on heavy rotation since its release. The Canadian group has created a perfect thirteen song blend that encapsulate what its like to be in love (“When It Comes To You,” “I Want Your Love,” “I Want You to Know”). To me, they’ve created the quintessential summer album – every song is distinctive and memorable. Dead Ghosts make me think of a garage doo-wop band, where the vocalist’s sweet crooning compliments the jangly guitars wonderfully. Other standouts include “Off The Hook” and “Getting Older”. Give this album a good listen; I can assure you it’ll be thirty-three very well spent minutes.
