Yeah… Where does one start with this? An amateurish story, horrendous acting, inept cinematography… it goes on and on. Johnny (Writer, Director and Producer Tommy Wiseau) is a banker happily engaged to his fiancee Lisa. The feeling isn’t reciprocated, however, as a bored Lisa begins an affair with Johnny’s best friend, Mark. If it sounds like your basic soap opera, believe me it’s worse. Throw in some nonsensical subplots, add an obsession with throwing footballs, doors that refused to be closed, not to mention spoons being shown throughout the movie. Basically, if you want to know how to make good cinema than do the complete opposite of what’s done in this film. With that said, it’s also a masterpiece of entertainment.
