There’s a new dance night residency in town, and its name is SHAKE! This month they host Mr. Travis Stewart, the mustachioed man behind twisted electronic project Machinedrum, now operating a new project under the aegis Aden and sounding like a psychedelic cruise through an intergalactic Club Med. Local rump bumpers Will Martin and Ali Berger fill out this GoodLife party with the sort of smooth house, crunchy beats and dirty techno for which they’ve built quite a loyal following. Not a bad way to start the weekend, that’s for sure.
