Boston Cyberarts presents From the Archive, a panel discussion to celebrate the legacy of the Center for Advanced Visual Studies (CAVS). This panel discussion comes on the heels of the opening of Otto Piene & Electronic Art in New England, an exhibition celebrating the wealth of contributions to the world of art and technology by artist and educator, Otto Piene. The panel will take part in an evening of critical discourse on the importance of CAVS in art and technology in New England.

The panel will consist of CAVS grads and fellows who worked closely with Otto Piene. Responding to the query “what did you know about Otto and CAVS before becoming part of the program and how did working with Otto and within CAVS change how you approached your art and your work?”, the panelists will explore a broad perspective of art in technology through their personal experience as participants in CAVS.
