Attention all people: get to Grandma’s House tonight to check out Adult Mom, Lady Queen Paradise, Palehound (solo), Pasture Dog, and Judy Chong tonight, presented by Gender Meltdown. If you’re a sucker for mellow and sweet, this is the place to be. Bedroom folk project Adult Mom (NY) charms with honey-coated lo-fi songs and a quirky edge. LadyQueen (CT) will entrance you with gossamer lullabies and wispy vocals. Ellen of Palehound (NY) brings a solo set to the depths with unpredictable songwriting and intoxicating melodies. For some local goodness: Pasture Dog crafts tiny, delicate folkish songs; Judy Chong comes armed with a ukelele and tranquilizing voice. You might have to go over the river, and maybe even through the woods, but it’ll be worth it for this show at Grandma’s House.
